Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 26, 2026
ScriptForge processes account information, video URLs submitted for transcript extraction, transcripts saved to a signed-in account, voice samples explicitly supplied by users, generation outputs, and basic security logs. Account records are used to provide the service, enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, support billing and respond to support requests.
Data handling: API keys are kept in server-side files and are never sent to the browser. Transcript and writing features send relevant submitted text to the configured providers (YouTube or the transcript API for extraction, Anthropic for Voice Writer). Configure only providers you trust.
Retention and deletion: transcripts and generations remain in account history until deleted by the user or account. Security logs and transaction records may be retained for operational, fraud-prevention and legal reasons. You can request account deletion from Dashboard → Settings or use the Data Deletion page.
Cookies: a session cookie is used for login and CSRF protection. Third-party payment providers may set their own cookies on their checkout pages.
